MRY - Data Centre Introduction

The Data Centre Division of MRY was established in 2002 after numerous requests from our Commercial real estate clients who were unhappy with the solutions / options offered to them in the marketplace.

We learned through existing clients that there was a choice of two options
  •  Co-Location or
  •  Self Build

Both solutions had some components that satisified client requirments but it became clear that neither solution was a 100% fit. Both solutions had some pretty unassailable barriers

Co-Location
  • provided quick availability to service but at an uncompetitive price psf,
  • clients also reported that the outsource of critical applications regardless of SLA's and performance penalties offered by the provider still contained a risk factor that they had little or no control over.
Self Build
  • The advantage of  risk management control was mostly over come but
  • The initial cost of construction of the facility was prohibitive even with the reduced annualisation maintenance cost
Our sucess  criteria is based on providing our clients with elements of both solutions. We
work with our clients and a compelling team of consultants delivering a best in breed solution every time. We essentiaslly provide clients with
  • State of the art facilities including
  • Full control over annualised rental costs
  • Full control of maintenance costs inline with self build financial models.

Our Datacentre team continue to create innovative models and solutions for our clients. Our most recent approach has been to
  •  purchase facilities already owned by our client and
  •  renting back the facility under our model allowing clients to free up capital for other more cotre areas within their business.
Flexibility and superb execution are our core competencies. Tell us your requirements and we will find the solution
